According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, about 24% of first-time bachelor levels in Alabama have been in a company area. That produces the company area the second-most common area for first-time bachelor’s levels in their state, behind just technology and engineering.

In seven Alabama counties, business levels are the most frequent kind of bachelor’s for folks 25 and older with a bachelor’s or higher. These counties are Greene, Houston, Conecuh, Shelby, Crenshaw, Butler, Russell, Talladega and Pickens.

Number county had a higher charge of business levels than Greene County, in Alabama’s Dark Belt region. Some 34% of people 25 and older in addition to that at the very least a bachelor’s level earned a degree in operation – 10 percentage factors more significant compared to the statewide figure.

On another conclusion of the selection, two neighboring south Alabama counties had the best charge for business degrees. Just 14% of bachelor’s levels in Washington and Choctaw County, both only north of Mobile, were in business.
